I would say yes. For this reason, store insurance, which covers such things.

It depends. Is there a sign anywhere to say, they are not responsible for lost or stolen. If so, you may under no circumstances.
I want to talk with them but too. Chances are, an insurance cover for such an event, that the property stolen.
